The Why
I have been leading, coaching and managing people for nearly 30 years. I was born to serve, help, coach and mentor. Nothing brings me more fulfillment and excitement than helping others succeed.
I also believe in “staying in the game to remain relevant.” I continue working as the Senior Director of Customer Experience at a start up tech company. My department encompasses all things Customer Success, Customer Support and Sales.

Values
- Helpfulness: This is where fulfillment and meaning happen for me. I just want to try and help make the world a better place. Being helpful is one of the best ways to make that happen.
- Motivation: I wake up every morning and strive to be a better husband, son, brother, co-worker, etc. I am motivated to make the people around me and the company I work for more successful. This also requires learning from my mistakes so that I can continue growing.
- Hard Work: This really goes a long way. Time is our greatest gift and commodity, so I try hard not to waste it.
- Excellence: I don’t believe in doing anything half-hearted. If my name is going to be attached to something, I want it to be excellent. That goes for the projects I do at my job, the things I make and bake at home and of course the people I get to coach and mentor.
- Fun: Life is too short to take things too seriously. There is always room to add in some fun.

I’ll make your success my priority. We’ll start by having a a quick “Vision Meeting” so I can learn as much as I can about who you are what you’re trying to accomplish. I have a handful of questions I’ll ask to draw out ideas so that we’re on the same page. This will help develop a vision statement for your journey and also ensure we accomplish exactly what you’ve set out to achieve.
What the heck is a Paddlewasp?
My last name is Roby – pronounced /rōw,bee/ I had a mentor a while back who called me Paddlewasp (Row = Paddle / Bee = Wasp) It’s silly, but I always thought it’d make a fun name for a business.
